How Can dry Cough Along With Breathlessness Be Treated?

i have somewhat a dry kind of cough and i feel that there is phlegm that i want to excrete but i find it hard to do so.. because of this bothersome cough i am experiencing, i am having shortness of breath and feels like always tired... am taking cough medication (mucinex for the evening and just started taking robafen cough liquidgels... is there any other more effective medicine i need to take aside from the ones mentioned? thanks

Hi,

A dry cough and breathlessness are due to respiratory tract infections from bacteria.

You have started taking drugs continue it but do one thing take antibiotic coverage as well like Levofloxacin. It will take one to two weeks to recover completely. Don't be panic just continue drugs.
